———— CHARACTER DESCRIPTION ————
Adama Cueto is an aspiring inventor and scientist with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for problem-solving. Though he is introverted and socially awkward, often due to his vocabulary and nervous stutter—he prefers gadgets to socializing. When he’s feeling lonely, he asks himself, “There’s got to be someone out there, someone like me?” Adama comes from Port Town, a place filled with the sights and sounds of the sea. His family runs a repair-and-tour guide business, where he learned the art of fixing things from his father.
Adama’s mother Abena, embodies the warmth of South Africa, while his father Javier, a once-heroic Spanish sailor for the crown, grapples with the demons of his past inside a bottle. Recently, Adama received a scholarship to a scientific
program at the Kingdom City Palace.
Reluctantly, leaving his mother, who worries about his future, he promised her, “I’ll find my way and figure out what haunts our family and find a solution.”
Easily recognized by the goggles he wears over his glasses, Adama spends his time sketching blueprints, building gadgets, and experimenting with various ideas, sometimes with explosive results. His oversized pockets are always filled
with tools and improvised devices.
One day, after a lab explosion and a lecture from his professor, Adama caught the attention of Amara, who saw a kindred spirit in him. She invited him to join her mystery-hunting team, and he agreed under the condition that he could
invent whatever he wanted, without a lecture
